My Favorite Underrated Movies
We all have those movies we love, but it feels like no one else likes them. These are a few of mine.
One of the great things about the internet is finding out that I was not alone in liking these movies.
Josie and the Pussycats (2001)
Such cheesy goodness, with a fun soundtrack. Why don’t more people love this movie? Also, there was such a missed opportunity for a crossover with the live action Scooby-Doo
Sky High (2005)
I’m not sure what made me want to see this, but I actually went to the theaters to check it out. There is just something about this movie that I love. Maybe it’s Bruce Campbell?
Fantastic Four (2005)
The early 00s Fantastic Four movies get a lot of hate, but I actually really enjoy them (yes, both of them). The very first comic books I read was Fantastic Four, so it has a special place in my heart. When the 2005 movie came out, on my birthday, I went to see it in theaters. I wasn’t disappointed.
G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra (2009)
I watched this one night, just out of curiosity, and ended up actually liking it. I didn’t think I would, yet, I did. There aren’t many who like it, but I found out a few of my friends also enjoy the movie. I can’t even explain why I liked it, I just did.
The Black Cauldron (1985)
It’s been awhile since I have seen this movie, but I remember loving it when I was a kid. Yet, not many people seem to talk about it. I’m thinking I need to have a movie night and watch it again, it’s been too long.
