I got the chance to try out the new Firefly board game at GenCon, coming in September. The game is from Gale Force Nine, who came out with the Spartacus board game last year. I’ve never played that, or heard of the company really. I believe I’ve said before I’m very new to tabletop gaming. Getting to play this game was a treat though.

I was able to stop by the Cryptozoic booth at GenCon, they’ve got quite a few games to try out and buy, but what I was most interested in was the new Hex TCG game that is currently in development.

Pendragon Costumes is an online custom costume company that I’ve seen around for quite a few years now. They make a lot of Steampunk, Ren Faire, and Scifi costumes. Being who I am, I’ve always been particularly drawn to the Scifi costumes. They make quite a bit from the show Farscape, and I think they’re the best I’ve ever seen.
