Indy Pop Con 2014: Day One
Day one has wrapped up for us at Indy Pop Con, and it was a blast. Here’s a little peek at what happened today.
If you weren’t at PopCon, you missed out on some awesome stuff, including a Q&A with Nicholas Brendon (Xander on Buffy the Vampire Slayer), and Joel Hodgson’s one man show, Riffing Myself.
Once we go through our notes, and recordings, we will have more detailed posts, but here is a brief summary.
Nicholas Bredon Q&A:
We learned that Nicholas is an adorable, perverted flirt, who really likes boobs. He was absolutely hilarious, and just so much fun. Make sure to visit him in the celebrity autograph area. He’s also writing for the season 10 Buffy comics, so you may want to try and find his issue at a comic shop so you can get him to sign it!
Joel Hodgson Riffing Myself:
We were laughing so much our faces hurt. If you missed out on this you can still get the VIP pass for it for Saturday. In that one he will be chatting to fans about what direction they would like to see the new Mystery Science Theater 3000 take.
There was an awesome concert featuring Paul & Storm, The Harp Twins, and more!

And of course there are a lot of great panels and workshops to check out. Don’t forget to hit up the vendor, and artist booths. You should definitely check out the ‘Respawn Point‘, a 24 hour gaming room.
