If I Lived Through TV Show Decades
When I was watching WandaVision I couldn’t help but wonder what shows I would live through. Wanda was living through shows from various decades that she grew up watching. So, thinking about the shows I watched, this was my list. Unlike Wanda, I didn’t grow up watching only sitcoms. I did watch some, but I mostly watched a lot of scifi, and stuff like that. So this list will be compiled of the shows I watched the most.
The 60s: If I go sitcom it would be Bewitched. This seems like an obvious pick, as I feel like a lot of us grew up watching it. BUT I watched way more classic Doctor Who and Star Trek. So I’ll go with one of them… Let’s pick Doctor Who, maybe I can be a female version of the Doctor!
The 70s: This one is easy, Wonder Woman! But would I be Wonder Woman, or a villain? Hmm.
The 80s: This one is also easy, Star Trek: The Next Generation. I’d probably be Troi, “I never met a chocolate I didn’t like.”
The 90s: Oh boy. So many choices. If we go sitcom, it’s Sabrina the Teenage Witch, other than that it’s between Buffy and Xena… I could see myself being Willow or Gabrielle. So, how about both? A combination of the two?
The 2000s: I didn’t watch a lot of TV at this time, but I did watch certain shows a lot. So for a sitcom it would be How I Met Your Mother, and then there is my other favorite show from that decade: Supernatural. It would be cool to hang out with Barney and the gang, but I would probably be some random girl Barney dated. Though I was told I’m a cross between Lily and Robin. Overall, I would also love to be a kickass hunter, hanging out with the Winchesters… Assuming I wasn’t a demon… I’d probably be a demon.
