GenCon 2014: Games to Check Out
We’re featuring a few great games from some local Indianapolis game designers, that we’ve had the pleasure of playing a few times even before this years GenCon.
Heroes Wanted from Action Phase Games – A tactical card and board game. They had a successful kickstarter earlier this year, and you can keep an eye out for expansions; Extra, Extra (features more cards) and Champions and Masterminds (offers expert difficulty, and co-op play).
Super Turbo bit Crawl FX: Alpha Xtreme from LM Studios – This is an adventure rougelike game inspired by the 16bit video games of old. They recently reached their kickstarter goal, but you can still donate so they can reach their stretch goals!
IncrediBrawl & Strife from V3G – IncrediBrawl has been available since February, it’s a card game that is easy to learn, and a lot of fun to play. Their new game, Strife, is a strategy game, and they had a limited number of “preview” editions available during GenCon. There will be a Kickstarter for Strife coming this Fall.
