Book Review: Weetzie Bat
Hanging out at a used book store I was looking for a quick, interesting read when I suddenly felt drawn to a small colorful book on one of the shelves with a quirky name. I opened the cover to Weetzie Bat, read the whimsical description and decided this was just what I was looking for.
There was something about the way it was written, and the crazy cast of characters. I really enjoyed the story, and wanted more. So I was glad to find out there are more books out there.
The writing style isn’t for everyone, it can come across as odd, and a bit scattered, but I found it charming.
